I’m not sure if we were your most difficult clients, but I’m sure we were the most confusing. I remember when you initially counseled Marvin and me about the type of house we were looking for. I said I wanted a house with high ceilings, big windows and a lot of natural sunlight for my oil painting.  Marvin said he felt uncomfortable in homes with high ceilings and big windows made him feel like he was on display. He wanted lower ceilings, old world charm and smaller cozy rooms. It looked like one of us could get the home we wanted, but the other one was going to be disappointed.

The home you found us was perfect. The original structure has Marvin’s low slung ceilings, charming window seats and cozy fireplace. While the add-on gives me the soaring ceilings, a wall of glass and rooms filled with natural light. We are both happy with our home and happy with you.

Dear Kerry and Jan,

We came to you because you are experts in finding people horse ranches. However, we don’t have horses, we raise Llamas, and we run a non-profit organization helping at risk youth.

We explained money was tight and you pointed us to an affordable area and a property which fitted our needs perfectly. The only problem was it was zoned for horses exclusively. You canvassed the surrounding horse farms to see if they would object to Llamas in their area. When they didn’t object, you researched the process to get a variance.

Needless to say it all came together. We have our land, “our children” and our Llamas.

Dear Kerry and Jan,

I want to thank you both for the peace of mind you gave Otto. It was very important to him to leave his affairs in order and to leave me in a position where I would not have to worry about finances.

When we came to you we weren’t sure there would be any buyer for our house. After the house slipped off its foundation we thought it was worthless. You wisely marketed our house to construction companies with the capability to reconnect the house to the foundation.

In our wildest dreams we never thought our property would sell for so much.
